Vantage recently announced that it had earned its operating license from the FSCA (Financial Sector Conduct Authority).
With the license, the platform can now run its services in South Africa. The FSCA acts as a regulatory body for financial projects in South Africa. It is accountable for supervising, enforcing compliance, and licensing projects with financial regulations.
The latest news has earned Vantage a chance to increase its reach across Africa. Over the years, international brokers, such as Admirals and XTB have gained the license to operate in South Africa. Sharing the space with such well-known brokers will certainly help Vantage get more exposure in the global market.

Vantage talked about the latest development as part of its commitment to offering quality financial services to African clients. According to Marc Despallieres, Vantage’s Chief Strategy and Trading Officer, everyone in the company is thrilled to earn the license.
Marc added that Vantage has had its eyes on South Africa for a while. The broker was determined to operate in the region, helping traders access top-notch financial products and services. At the same time, Vantage wanted to act while meeting every compliance standard for forex brokers in South Africa.
Vantage’s quest to expand its reach in South Africa started in November 2022. The broker promoted Ted Odigie as its Head of Sales in Africa, who had joined the company in August 2021. With more than 17 years of experience in finance, Ted offered a wide array of services to Vantage.
With the broker ready to set up an exhibition in May, the latest news has sparked even more intrigue. Traders and investors across Africa have started learning about the platform using an in-depth Vantage FX broker review. These reviews talk about how Vantage operates and helps interested traders.
As for the upcoming exhibition, Vantage will attend the Finance Magnates Africa Summit from May 8 to 10. Ted will be a major speaker at the event’s panel discussion, “Market Opportunities: Where is the Alpha in Q2?”
