South Korea’s leading crypto exchange Upbit will expand its USDT trading market as it lists 12 new crypto tokens including Adventure Gold (AGLD), MultiverseX (EGLD), Filecoin (FIL), Lumiwave (LWA), Near Protocol (NEAR), Stellar Lumens (XLM) and others. Trading for these assets is scheduled to open at 16:30 KST. Other listed cryptos include Ahatoken (AHT), Alpha (ARPA), ASTR, Bancor (BNT), Orchid (OXT), and RADWORKS (RAD). These assets will be accessible across various networks, including Ethereum, Luniverse, Astar Network, MultiverseX, Filecoin, Sui, NEAR Protocol, and Stellar Network.

As per the official announcement, Upbit has established certain trading restrictions to ensure market stability and prevent price manipulation. This includes:
- Buy orders will be restricted for approximately the first 5 minutes after trading support starts.
- Sell orders below 90% of the previous day’s closing price are restricted for the first 5 minutes.
- Only limit orders will be allowed for the first hour, with other order types restricted during this period.
In its official statement, Upbit has provided the previous day’s closing prices in KRW, BTC, and USDT for each of the newly listed digital assets. For, Adventure Gold (AGLD), the previous day closing price is 0.000015 BTC, 1,875 KRW, or 1.3185 USDT. For Filecoin (FIL), the previous day closing price is 0.00004823 BTC, 6,027 KRW, or 4.23 USDT. For Near Protocol (NEAR), it is 7,600 KRW, or 5.34 USDT. For Bancor (BNT), the closing price is 0.00000685 BTC, 856 KRW, or 0.6019 USDT. Here’s the entire list:

Upbit has cautioned users to verify the asset’s network before depositing to avoid issues. Transactions on unsupported networks may lead to delays and non-returnable deposits. Upbit has also informed that deposits/withdrawals are only allowed through verified personal wallet addresses. For large deposits with unclear origins, Upbit may ask for proof of funds.
