Less than a month after the opening of user registration to STRMNFT marketplace, thousands of NFTs have already been minted by more than 5,000 users.

In detail, STRMNFT began its user registration on May 31, 2022. Since then, the NFT marketplace has seen its new users actively trying out the platform’s features and services. In fact, the art division of TNC Group has minted up to 10,000 NFTs for its Lady Ape Club (LAC) collection. TNC is a partner company of StreamCoin, the Web3 live streaming firm that developed STRMNFT.

Currently, minting on STRMNFT is free, as the platform has waived all minting fees until July 2022. In addition, the NFT marketplace will enable users to sell their NFTs on the platform starting on July 7, 2022.

Michael Ein Chaybeh, CEO of StreamCoin, credited the surge of users to STRMNFT’s user-friendly marketplace. According to him, the team “designed STRMNFT to be an easy-to-use marketplace and an open space for all types of users.”

Moreover, the Love STRMNFT challenge is also in full swing, with people from all over the world making their entry to share in a prize pool of $10,000. However, those who are still interested in joining the event must hurry, as the doors will close by the end of June.

STRMNFT marketplace will implement NSTA_602, a different type of token standard native to Stream Chain. This is the dedicated blockchain network of StreamCoin that is said to enable up to 300,000 transactions per second (TPS). Michael added that they have chosen to use their own network since it is energy-efficient and doesn’t compromise on speed. He remarked:

“As we observe how the planet is being consumed every day by operating high-capacity servers, power-consuming blockchain networks, and other high carbon-emission platforms, we came up with a new, responsible, eco-friendly solution that doesn’t compromise the speed and efficiency, and at the same time, contributes to a better future for our planet.”
