“The HIFU airdrop is an exciting milestone for the Shib community, designed to reward and engage its diverse members,” Lucie wrote. She highlighted the initiative’s inclusivity, with allocations designed for LEASH holders, BONE holders, SHIB gamers, and NFT enthusiasts.
The first phase focuses on LEASH holders, recognizing their loyalty and contribution to the Shiba Inu ecosystem. As Lucie explained, “LEASH holders are recognized as some of the most loyal supporters in the Shib community. The SHIFU airdrop rewards these holders based on their holdings, ensuring fair and proportional distribution.”

To qualify, holders must own at least 0.01 LEASH per allocation slot. Both staked and unstaked LEASH are eligible, and tokens on Ethereum and Shibarium networks qualify. Lucie confirmed that a snapshot date would soon be announced to finalize eligibility.

For example, a user holding 0.01 LEASH will receive one allocation slot, while those with 100 LEASH will secure 10,000 slots. Shiba Inu’s Lucie underscored the importance of this airdrop in driving participation. She stated, “LEASH holders have consistently supported the ecosystem and are instrumental in driving its growth. The SHIFU airdrop acknowledges their contributions and encourages continued participation.”
