Over 10 years, the community grants scheme has released 1 billion, and presently, 35 million in MATIC for Polygon and Ethereum projects. All of this is in aid of the developer groups.
The initial season about the scheme will entail the release of 3 million MATIC, with the grants being supervised by a separate community treasure board. There will also be an open and community-driven funding infrastructure.

To be deserving of the grant, projects must be created on Polygon or shifted to it and require a long span of time. Some prime projects have already benefited from the grants, such as Quickswap, Keom, Jokerace, Intraverse, and many others.
For interested developers, there are two separate tracks: the general grant track and the consumer crypto track. The initial season will involve consumer crypto, assisting builders in their development tasks. Polygon GGP will always remain alert to prospective developers’ requirements.
Being connected with Polygon technology signifies supremacy at all levels. Developers have the freedom to carry out their activities in just about any place and any time they choose or are comfortable with. The positioning of dApps on Polygon PoS offers cost effectiveness and account removal issues, along with the option of having their projects connect with Polygon zkEVM, which is an EVM comparable to ZKL2, in which Ethereum tools are highly advanced.
