The Global Blockchain Show is pleased to announce that Dr. Marwan Alzarouni, the CEO of Dubai Blockchain Center (DBCC), is one of its esteemed guest speakers. On December 12 and 13, 2024, Dr. Marwan Alzarouni will join over 3,000 Web3 Founders, developers, more than 100 speakers, and over 100 investors for a two-day festival at the Grand Hyatt Exhibition Centre in Dubai.
The blockchain event will provide an opportunity to network with the top minds in crypto and the Web3 community. The Ultimate Blockchain Season Finale is organized by Web3 and AI consulting company VAP Group.

The DBCC center was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in May 2018 as part of the Area 2071 initiative. It aims to create a fertile ground and a holistic ecosystem in which blockchain companies and projects can thrive. DBCC routinely hosts several blockchain companies within Area 2071, as well as educational programs and seminars on blockchain use cases in government and the private sector.
In addition, Dr. Marwan is currently heading the Digital Asset Task Force (DATF), a research and advisory team that reports to the Dubai Future Council for Blockchain. The task force’s purpose is to conduct comprehensive research that will provide clear guidelines on how to encourage and regulate digital assets.
The council establishes Dubai as a global blockchain capital by providing a prominent platform for decision-makers from various local and international governments and private sector groups to explore future blockchain-based solutions.
