MapleStory, a top gaming franchise, has collaborated with the Avalanche blockchain to venture within the Web3 arena. Together, they will introduce a blockchain-oriented multiplayer online game, MMORPG, also known as MapleStory N. It will come with unique gaming features and rewarding systems.
The players getting connected with the game will be able to take part in Maple Universe and build worlds and products, receiving rewards for the attempt. Almost all the MapleStory’s products will be built by the players themselves.
MapleStory N will be duly delivered on PC towards the end of this year. It will be utilizing Avalanche’s new-age Subnet technology. It allows the building of custom-made blockchains, initiating a more comprehensive array of decentralized applications and solutions.

According to the Partnership Lead at MapleStory Universe, Angela Son, the tie-up with Avalanche will help improve their blockchain ecosystem, offer a safe and all-inclusive platform targeting dApps, and strengthen their market position.
MapleStory shifted from Polygon to Avalanche because of Ava Lab’s server and framework building backing.
The owner of MapleStory is the Nexon Group of South Korea. The game comes with a free-to-play MMORPG module, generating more than $3 billion in revenue in 2020.
