On behalf of the Lino team, the team DLive expresses their gratitude to all the participants for being a part of this journey and collaboration with the Lino Network and Lino blockchain. After April 15, 2020, 5:00:00 pm the Lino blockchain will discard all its existing validators and the Lino blockchain will be shutting down. The Lino coins will be no longer be taken into consideration for transactions.

The Lino holders have to ensure that they take appropriate action before the deadline. The users can convert LINO into Lemons or BTT before the deadline. The conversion of all LINO stake to LINO will be taking 24 hours, the users have to ensure that the “Stake Out” process should be initiated before April 14, 2020. 

Introduction to BTT Staking Reward System

The Lino Staking rewards will be replaced by BTT Staking rewards on DLive on April 23, 2020, at 5:00:00 pm PST. The BTT Staking rewards will be available only on DLive which aims to strengthen the partnership through DLive and BitTorrent. The staking rewards will be increased to 25% from 9.9% that will further encourage and reward those who join DLive. This partnership will make the new ecosystem more sustainable for a longer period and prevent fraud and abuse. 

Updates To be Implemented

  1. Blockchain staking rewards will be increased from 9.9% to 25% on all DLive donations and subscriptions. 
  2. Users who are willing to earn staking rewards will have to stake BTT on DLive.
  3. To convert BTT stake to BTT tokens it will be taking a 2 week time.

Logging with the existing Lino account will no longer be supported. Users who have previously logged in to their DLive accounts with the Lino Account will have to create new alternative login credentials using their email id. After May 15, 2020, the users will no longer be able to access DLive with previous Lino credentials.
