Vice President Kamala Harris has vowed to aid investments in crypto and in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector if elected, as she addressed an economic strategy to donors in New York City on Sunday.
While pitching her economic agenda to donors at a fundraiser at Cipriani Wall Street in Manhattan, she promises to assist both AI and crypto to foster innovation and focus regulations on safeguarding users and investors.
This fundraiser event has managed to raise $27 Million for the Democrat candidate.

Showing her avowed support, Kamala Harris said that she will bring together labor, small business founders and innovators and major firms. She added, “We will partner together to invest in America’s competitiveness, to invest in America’s future. We will encourage innovative technologies like AI and digital assets, while protecting our consumers and investors.”
These statements come off as the first overtures to the crypto industry as a Democrat presidential nominee specifically as the crypto community looked forward to understanding her stance on cryptos, and if it’s anything different to Republicans Elizabeth Warren and SEC chair Gary Gensler. Meanwhile, her opponent Donald Trump and other Republican candidates have already established himself as pro crypto Presidential election candidates.
As revealed by SkyBridge founder, Anthony Scaramucci, Harris is also expected to join some of the crypto advocates for upcoming crypto discussions this week, to help draft her campaign’s policies on crypto.
