The Power of One Lunch with Warren Buffett will be happening this Thursday, July 25, at the famous Quince Restaurant in San Francisco, California. Justin Sun donated a whopping $4.57 million via a charity auction bid, to secure the lunch with the master investor.
The event is touted to be extremely important for TRON, and crypto industry in general. Buffett has been a staunch critic of Bitcoin and other cryptos, and the event would give Sun a chance to clear the ‘misconception’ the 82year-old Berkshire Hathaway CEO has about the industry.
To help the cause, TRON’s chief has invited some big names from the industry which includes, Litecoin Chief Charlie Lee, Jeremy Allaire, CEO of Circle, and Huobi Global Chief Livio Wang. Making an addition to the list, Sun has now invited eToro CEO and co-founder, Yoni Assia, and head of Binance Charity Foundation, Helen Hai.
I'd like to invite my good friend @yoniassia, Founder & CEO of @eToro, to join my lunch with @WarrenBuffett. 4 days to go and more friends to be announced!

Interestingly, Sun had also invited Binance co-founder and CEO, Changpeng Zhao, who declined the request sarcastically. Taking a jibe at Buffett, he stated,
“I guess Buffett will be eating a lunch funded by ‘rat poison’ after all, lol.”
Buffett has been quite critical about Bitcoin, saying last year that crypto is just ‘rat poison squared.’ Also, earlier this year, he compared Bitcoin with the button of his suit, stating that both have limited functionality. However, the opportunity at hand with Justin Sun is a great one to turn the critic into a big investor in crypto. At a time when the US regulators are tightening their grip on the industry, Buffett’s entry could certainly ease up things.

Sun would like to make the most of this opportunity, and hence is trying to bring the best in the business on the lunch. It would be quite interesting to see if he invites Vitalik Buterin, or Anthony Pompliano, or even Elon Musk, who has been quite supportive of cryptocurrencies.
