SBI Group of Japan has issued non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the XRP Ledger in anticipation of the upcoming World Expo 2025 in Osaka. This is intended to enhance the quality of interactions among attendees by utilizing blockchain technology, according to the company’s perspective. This has successfully captured the attention of crypto enthusiasts.
Japanese company SBI Holdings, a Ripple partner, has initiated the minting of NFTs for the World Expo 2025 on the XRP Ledger. This project is supported by SBI Holdings and is an element of the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet initiative. To obtain the complimentary NFTs for a maximum of 500 users, users are given the option of downloading the Myaku-N! Online wallet on iOS and Google. It will be impossible to sell or transfer them.
SBINFT, its NFT operations, and SBI VC Trade, a crypto exchange, are two of the two branches incorporated into SBI. Both entities will be accountable for the provision of the service that is intended for the 28.2 anticipated attendants of the World Expo in Osaka, Kansai. The NFTs will be unveiled on October 13, 2025, and the online wallet application solution will be discontinued thereafter.

SBI will use Ripple’s XRP Ledger to distribute NFTs to attendees in conjunction with the event’s mascot, MYAKU-MYAKU. Attendees will acquire the online collections by utilizing the Expo mobile application and participating in the event functions.
Emi Yoshikawa, the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Operations at Ripple, has stated that this represents a significant advancement for both Ripple and the blockchain community. Additionally, SBI will contribute additional presents, lotteries, and prizes, including the Myakumyakupon gifting scheme.
