Taiwan-based leading blockchain solutions provider firm, International Trust Machines Corporation or ITM launches its new blockchain attestation project for Qualcomm and Microsoft’s IoT chipsets at the 2020 International CES organized in Las Vegas between January 7, 2020, to January 10, 2020.

According to the latest reports, ITM has collaborated with Qualcomm Technologies and Microsoft to create a revolutionary blockchain-supported solution for chipsets certified for Microsoft’s Azure Sphere IoT network. The attestation solution will be pre-installed with the Azure Sphere, which will allow automatic integration with the Azure Sphere security cloud services. The solution will come infused with the highest standards of hardware-level security.

The new integrated chipsets will facilitate business operations in an unprecedented manner. The communities will be able to take advantage of extraordinary features like edge computing, low latency connectivity, and end-to-end security thereby offering a major transformational change in the ecosystem. Microsoft will channelize its operations in a manner that will allow the manufactures to keep their systems upgraded to the latest version via the OS updates delivered securely to each device by the Microsoft ecosystem.

“We enable IoT innovations to be built on a solid foundation of security because we know this is the most crucial factor for companies. They are looking for assurance that their product, brand, and clients are safely secured within the blockchain platforms,” stated Julian Chen, CEO of ITM.

ITM was established with an aim to popularize blockchain technology in the global parlance and allowing strategic infusion of blockchain with IoT to drift away from the issues related to scalability, privacy, and expenditure. The platform through its security standards, promises to present a new concept of “blockchain of things.” It has entered into several partnerships with renowned institutions around the world. ITM teamed up with the Institute for Information Industry to create an efficient healthcare ledger.

“Scalability, privacy and cost are the common issues enterprises face. Most public chains face the difficulty of processing a large amount of data generated by IoT devices and that affects the scaling up of a company. Meanwhile, it costs companies an exorbitant amount of money to have miners turn raw data into useful information. Concerns about data stored on a blockchain have also been raised owing to the lack of a mechanism to erase information after it’s been input,” added Chen.

Talking about ITM’s achievements, the firm became the first runner-up at the Qualcomm Innovate in Taiwan Challenge 2019. In 2019 Meet Taipei Demo Show, the firm was bestowed upon with two awards- “neo Star Top 3” and “TTA Award.” ITM was one of the 80 startups chosen by the Taiwan Tech Arena to showcase their path-breaking projects at the TTA Taiwan Tech Pavilion at 2020 CES.

The main features of ITM’s solutions

  1. Economical- The 100kb capacity SDK of ITM’s scaling algorithm can be infused into an MCU level controller conveniently.
  2. Data Processing- It helps in computing and management of big data and AI analysis.
  3. Scalability- The system handles millions of off-chain data analytics through a single main-chain transaction.
  4. Security- It works as a centralized database and decentralized blockchain as the main chain comprises of 32 bytes crypto proof.
  5. Authenticity- It offers an open-source validation solution that aids quick authentication through one ledger fingerprint verification.
