Greasy Monkey Games recently announced entering a partnership with Mishimoto. The collaboration has been undertaken for the upcoming racing game, Torque Drift 2.

With the partnership, Grease Monkey Games has access to exclusive Mishimoto NFTs. It has expanded the game’s simulation experience and Web3 capabilities.

Developed by Animoca Brands’ subsidiary, Torque Drift 2 is a blockchain racing game. The title presents an immersive and realistic drifting experience to players. It will also be the official on-chain game for Formula DRIFT.

Thus, Web3 and Web2 players can expect an authentic gaming experience from the title. Scheduled for 2023, the game will initially launch on the PC platform. Grease Monkey Games will shortly release the game on consoles as a part of the REVV Motorsport system.

The game has been developed on Polygon, a network dedicated to removing all of its carbon debt ever since its launch. Since Torque Drift 2 is also dedicated to maintaining environmental responsibility, Polygon’s aim to make positive climate change fits with its business ethics.

Although the drifting game is scheduled for 2024, it will release a playable demo in 2023 Q2. Players can witness the much-anticipated game that follows the high-octane Torque Drift title.

Mishimoto is also contributing its automotive expertise to ensure the upcoming game meets the fans’ expectations. Torque Drift 2 is set to feature Mishimoto’s gear shifters and intercoolers, helping players to personalize their vehicles in the game.

The feature falls in line with the title’s core value of play-it-your way. It also matches Grease Monkey Games’ commitment to providing a delightful digital racing experience. Names like Liberty Walk, Nissan, and Formula DRIFT have already joined hands with the Torque Drift franchise.

Their addition is warmly welcomed by the fan base and is expected to help the game fill the original title’s shoes.
