Early Access takes the opportunity of making its formal announcement with regards to its Chainlink Staking being successfully positioned live on the Ethereum mainnet. The entire team at Early Access happens to be extremely excited about this occurrence, as it has a great amount of significance for them in more ways than one. Currently, the functionalities will allow the community members to stake up to a figure of 7,000 LINK in the limited dimensions of the staking pool.

However, there is a condition laid down for that. In the case scenario, the intended community members will have to be able to fulfill at least a single set criterion, as laid down by the Early Access Eligibility List.

However, it is essential to note that at the beginning or initial phase of v0.1, an allotment of 22.5M LINK is done for the Community Stakes on a first come and first served basis. A stake of 2.5M is also reserved and kept for the Node Operator Stakers. STAKING v0.2 is about to be released within 9 to 12 months, and until then, the rewards and Staked LINK will be locked.

According to their plans, this capped staking pool will be available to the rest of the concerned masses from the 8th of December, 2022. Once this is done, all of the users on board will be allowed to stake, which comes with a clause that states that only a preliminary limit of 7,000 LINK per address will be permitted. However, this will also be about the first 25M LINK pool cap and all other participation requirements, as applicable.
