Donald Trump has announced the launch of his family’s cryptocurrency platform, World Liberty Financial on X. Trump called the platform an ‘alternative to traditional banks’.
In his post, Trump said, “We’re embracing the future with crypto and leaving the slow and outdated big banks behind,” as he encouraged users to join the live event 16th September, 8pm.

In August, Trump had started promoting this platform on his own social media platform, Truth Social. Trump claimed that the average American has been squeezed by the big banks and financial elites for a long time and the platform will change that.
World Liberty Financial had recently faced security attacks, as scammers targeted over 70,000 users with fake crypto giveaways through fake ads on its Telegram account.
Trump has shown his avowed support for crypto time and again. Trump had also recently launched his fourth NFT collection with 50 unique digital trading cards. In fact, his pro-crypto stance was one of the drivers behind the recent crypto market bleed that was spurned due to his unimpressive performance in the Trump vs Harris debate.
Many crypto pundits have gone on to predict that Bitcoin price might go up to $90,000 if he wins, and it could drop to $30,000 if Harris wins, which is a testament to the crypto community’s confidence in Trump.
