The leading peer-to-peer file transfer protocol, BitTorrent, has broadcasted the news about the renowned blockchain-pegged content sharing platform DLive becoming the newest member of the BitTorrent ecosystem. As BitTorrent was acquired by the TRON Foundation in 2018, DLive will now migrate to the TRON blockchain after its integration into the BitTorrent system.

A few days back, Justin Sun spilled the news about a new member entering the BitTorrent community. Though the leader didn’t disclose the name of the platform in his official post, now BitTorrent has announced that DLive has been added to the Tron blockchain. The addition will allow BitTorrent’s millions of users to enjoy DLive’s services, making it shine as one of the biggest live-streaming platforms in the global industry.

According to the post, BitTorrent and DLive will be putting their joint efforts to allow mass access to blockchain-pegged P2P content sharing, including live streaming. BitTorrent will integrate its live streaming platform, BLive, into the DLive platform.

On the other hand, DLive will offer its suite of products and services on the BitTorrent network and will also lend support to popularize the products offered by the BitTorrent team. DLive will employ the BitTorrent File-Sharing System to bring its content on a decentralized pedagogy. The two platforms will merge their account systems with each other to further strengthen their partnership.

BitTorrent has made it clear that the DLive platform will be working on the Lino blockchain until it gets migrated to the TRON blockchain. The LINO currency will not be supported in the new integrated system. Also, DLive will be offering an array of rewards and lucrative benefits to the existing users during the transition from Lino blockchain to the BitTorrent.
