The Debate Effect : Trump Skips Mentioning Crypto, Bitcoin & MAGA dip

The debate was completely devoid of any crypto stance, from either side of the aisle. If that was not enough, Kamala’s relaxed demeanor throughout the debate (as opposed to Trump’s defensive approach) caused a dip in Bitcoin and MAGA value.

In fact, MAGA Coin, which supports Donald Trump’s re-election campaign, also witnessed a crashing decline by 10.3% to $2.90 following the debate.

The crypto industry was hooked on to the debate, expecting ‘Bitcoin Reserve’, ‘crypto’ to be mentioned in the economic plans of the Presidential candidates. But all they got, were the following quotes on economy:

Harris said, “I believe in the ambition, the aspirations, the dreams of the American people, and that is why I imagine and have actually a plan to build what I call an opportunity economy.”

“Look, we’ve had a terrible economy, because of inflation, which is really known as a country buster,” said Trump.

“People can’t go out and buy cereal or bacon or eggs or anything else. The people of our country are absolutely dying with what they’ve done. They’ve destroyed the economy,” said Trump.

The debate, as Polymarket predicted, did feature topics like Abortion, Israel, Ukraine-Russia, Gaza, Covid, and some off-the-trail-topics like Assassination attempt. The results of the debate is yet to come out.
