Circle Partners With Hong Kong Telecoms to Explore Customer Loyalty Solution in HK

Global financial technology platform Circle has announced its partnership with Hong Kong telecommunications(HKT) to explore a potential collaboration in developing blockchain-based customer loyalty solutions for merchants in Hong Kong.

As a part of its Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HKT, Circle’s expertise in Web3 Services will be leveraged HKT’s extensive merchant ecosystem and customer engagement capabilities. The two companies are poised to innovate customer loyalty programs by integrating Web3 technology, enhancing consumer discovery and interaction with merchants, to reshape customer loyalty strategies while promoting a more dynamic and social engagement experience.

Circle’s Web3 Services offer a suite of enterprise-grade developer tools designed to simplify and secure the process of building on blockchain. With key features like Circle’s Programmable Wallets, Web3 experience will be streamlined, enabling both established businesses and startups to effectively utilize digital assets and smart contracts within their applications.

According to the official statement, Jeremy Allaire, co-founder and CEO of Circle, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We are excited to collaborate with HKT to bring our Web3 Services to the forefront of customer loyalty innovation.
