During his tenure at Binance, Ng played a crucial role in the exchange’s interactions with global regulators, including those in the United States.

Ng’s responsibilities at Bitget will be far-reaching. He will oversee the company’s adherence to global regulatory requirements, engage directly with regulators, and spearhead efforts to obtain licenses in new markets. This multifaceted approach aims to support Bitget’s expansion plans while ensuring robust compliance with evolving crypto regulations worldwide.

Before entering the cryptocurrency space, Ng honed his legal and business development skills at Uber. His involvement in the $2 billion merger of Uber’s Southeast Asian business with Grab demonstrates his ability to manage complex corporate transactions.
