Leading crypto exchange Binance has announced it will soon release “Moonbix,” a new play-to-earn (P2E) game available on Telegram’s Mini App, after it confirmed that the game was leaked ahead of its official launch.

Binance customer support wrote on X, “We’re aware that our upcoming TG mini app game, Moonbix, was leaked ahead of the planned launch date. While we’re thrilled by the community’s response, we’re still fine-tuning the product to ensure the best user experience on the official launch.”

This announcement came in after rumors of Binance launching a space-themed game were doing rounds. The game will supposedly have players driving a spaceship with a claw-like control and collect items like yellow stones and gifts scattered across galaxies.

Although Binance hasn’t made an official announcement yet, early access links for Moonbix were floating, and spurned a lot of excitement amongst users.

Binance customer support team has also informed that it is reviewing individual cases for users affected by the rumors and has promised an official release announcement soon. Users have been advised to stay alert to impersonation accounts and only use the official Telegram bot and announcement channels mentioned by Binance.

Moonbix has already grabbed eyeballs with official backing from Binance and has positioned itself as a highly anticipated project amongst degens and gamers even before its official announcement.
