Christie’s, which is a very well-known auction house, has gone ahead and formed a collaboration with the ultimate fashion brand, Gucci, and MoonPay, which is a familiar Web3 brand, to introduce their version of art and technology to the world. This is in relation to Christie’s organizing its seventh art and technology summit, which promises to be one of the most gala events. It is slated for the 19th and 20th of July, 2023. The selected venue is Christie’s Rockefeller Center in New York. The highlights of the event will be the interactions related to AI and quantum, as well as Fintech, along with Web3 and blockchain and, of course, luxury and fashion.

The first summit that was organized by Christie’s was way back in the year 2018. In all of the events, there has always been the presence of the brains connected to the international business houses, wherein deep-rooted discussions are carried out on topics related to the advancement of technology, besides creating an ideal environment for healthy exchange.

This year’s event will be witnessing some very prominent speakers, such as Cathie Wood of Arkinvest, along with Ester De Nicolas of Microsoft and Joe Lubin of Consensys. There will also be the presence of Beeple, who is an artist, as well as Keith Grossman of MoonPay and Dani Loftus of Draup.

Christie’s has always managed to be at the forefront of matters related to the wonders of technology. In the year 2006, it introduced online bidding and never looked back. The auction house has also been instrumental in organizing auctions in terms of NFT projects, such as Crypto Punks.

At the present moment in time, it is involved in the development of Christie’s 3.0 in order to make provision for on-chain NFT auction sales. All of this speaks volumes about the entity’s inclination towards the overlapping of art and technology. Incidentally, it has a legacy dating back to over two hundred years.
