Argentina is set to offer Ethereum and blockchain focused Solidity courses and Internships as it forays into blockchain education within the Latin American region.
The ETH Kipu Foundation has joined hands with the Buenos Aires Ministry of Education to offer Ethereum and blockchain courses into high school curriculum. With this, students in Buenos Aires can participate in internships within blockchain projects starting August 27.

The Solidity course also aims to train 500 students aged 18 and above, allowing them to develop applications for local businesses.

The ETH Kipu Foundation has also begun a training program for 30 educators for “hybrid training,” balancing theoretical knowledge with practical application.
Paula D., an official within the ETH Kipu Foundation, claimed, “This initiative will open up new career opportunities for young people and place Argentina at the forefront of the global blockchain movement.”
A recent Chainalysis report found that Latin America has the seventh-largest crypto economy of all regions they studied, ahead of only Sub-Saharan Africa, but not far behind MENA, Eastern Asia, and Eastern Europe. Its position compared to other regions was relatively consistent over the last two years, added the report.
As Buenos Aires is becoming a prominent hub for cryptocurrency activities with a plan to build blockchain valley in Buenos Aires, education program like this, further accelerates the local crypto economy across Latin America . However, the foundation has not disclosed plans for program expansions to other provinces or cities beyond Buenos Aires at this time.
