Pioneering blockchain platform ArcBlock has officially partnered with Microsoft Azure, operated by China-based 21Vienet, to make its blockchain development ecosystem and ABT Blockchain Node software available to users of Azure cloud services in China.

Jean Chen, ArcBlock’s VP said,

With Azure operated by 21Vienet in China, we have a critical component to deliver the experiences our users want.

ArcBlock is a blockchain 3.0 platform, which provides developers with a blockchain development framework, toolset, PoS system and protocol updates, which allow them to build their own decentralized apps (DApps) as well as customized blockchains.

ArcBlock uses Forge Software Development Kits (SDKs), to allow developers to use a wide variety of software languages, is accessible on both laptop and mobile and has a library of pre-built blockchain tools to facilitate developers. Additionally, its user-friendly browser experience also attracts more developers to work on it.

ArcBlock’s ABT Blockchain Node software has microservices architecture. So, it can run on any cloud service. It helps developers run the DApps created on its blockchain platform. It is currently available on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure cloud services.

ABT node is a fully decentralized cloud node. It allows users to change attributes of their nodes like the consensus engine and storage engine, to decentralize storage or use cloud storage services. It can be set up under a minute to deliver applications and other services publicly.

Thus, ArcBlock uses blockchain and cloud computing technologies to provide developers with an end-to-end solution for creating, hosting and managing DApps.
