In the past couple, all the major business companies in the world have placed their bets on blockchain technology, and Amazon is no different. It has been exploring the distributed ledger realm actively for quite some time.
Amazon Web Services, the world’s largest computing platform, has recently listed Aelf Blockchain. Aelf also happens to be a decentralized cross-chain cloud computing platform. The announcement came via a tweet on Friday. The DLT platform said that the Enterprise users could easily get familiar with Aelf Blockchain.

Amazon AWS the biggest cloud computing platform, and has partnerships with several thousand enterprises across the globe. Also, the user base of AWS runs into more than a few million. Getting listed on AWS will give Aelf immense visibility and exposure to giants like Netflix, NASA, AirBnB, Lionsgate, and Time Inc.
In a post on Medium, Aelf said,
“Developers can use the aelf Enterprise 0.7.0 beta Amazon Machine Image (AMI) on the AWS App Store to deploy their image quickly and launch aelf-based blockchain systems with a few simple commands. In addition, developers can access supporting tutorials, smart contracts, and Dapp samples.”

Digital infotainment space, especially video streaming, e-magazines, etc. are growing tremendously in number, and face issues like piracy which can be eliminated using blockchain. Start-ups like Aelf need an initial push to get going in the highly competitive space, and players like Amazon AWS can do just that.
