FTX’s sister company, Alameda Research has transferred a total of 698,000 Worldcoin(WLD) worth around $1.13 Million to Binance in 20 days. The now bankrupt crypto trading firm, Alameda Research has been selling WLD tokens since August 8.

Alameda Research had obtained 25 million WLD by investing in Worldcoin. Alameda Research currently still holds 24.3 million WLD worth $36.69 million. According to EmberCN monitoring, these WLD will continue to be sold in batches for a considerable period of time, considering previous FTX/Alameda asset liquidation and sales.

Recently, a Manhattan- based federal district court had ruled FTX and Alameda Research to pay a sum of $12.7 billion to creditors. The court has ordered FTX and Alameda Research to pay $8.7 billion in restitution and $4 billion in disgorgement.

In its ruling, the court said that FTX breached the federal Commodity Exchange Act and federal regulations under the trading commission, and that the partners-in-crime “made material misrepresentations and omissions to customers.”

After Alameda’s transaction to Binance, the firm transferred around 36 BTC worth $2.17 Million from Bitbank hotwallet in its wbtc wallet.

As for Worldcoin, the token has been seeing a constant slump over the last month. WLD is currently trading at $1.50 , and has gone down buy 35.47% in the past month and 11.97% in the past day.
